LEAVESTER WILSON

Leavester Wilson, 89, husband of Martha Ann Spann Wilson and son of the late Ollie Wilson and Sarah Perry Wilson, was born on Feb. 16, 1931, in Sumter. He departed this life on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Wilson will be placed in the church on Saturday at 9 a.m. for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150.

Interment will follow in Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, family will receive other relatives and close friends at the home, 2155 Patton Drive, Sumter, SC 29153, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
