Lee Central Career and Technology Center student Nidaisha Thomas won the high school division of The LINK Economic Development Alliance's eSTEAM Sumter festival recently. Her drawing will be posted on a billboard in Lee County this week. LCCTC students Donquez Hickman and Asia Pearson also participated under the leadership of their instructor, Simone Mitchell-Scott.

The eSTEAM festival is designed to bring together science, technology, engineering, arts and math aficionados from the greater Sumter community to display developments by way of exhibits, creative presentations and practical endeavors. The educational community, local industry and community leaders are all involved in the event.
