BISHOPVILLE – Lee Central High School’s varsity boys basketball team closed out its regular season with an 18-4 record after beating Andrew Jackson High 52-42 on Friday at the LCHS gymnasium.
The Stallions, who won the Region IV-2A crown with an 11-1 record, were led in scoring by Lebron Thomas and Daveon Thomas with 14 points apiece. De’Ablo Halley added 12 and KJ Holloman chipped in 10.
Lee Central will play host to Columbia in the first round of the state playoffs on Wednesday.

Holly Hill 40
HOLLY HILL – Clarendon Hall improved to 24-0 with an 81-40 win over Holly Hill on Tuesday at the HH gymnasium.
Traveon Davis led the Saints with 28 points. Jordan Boyd added 20, and Quavion Miller had 13. Tyrese Mitchum scored eight points while grabbing 13 rebounds. Kade Elliott blocked eight shots.

Wilson Hall 26
Laurence Manning Academy improved to 15-4 with a 31-26 win over Wilson Hall on Friday at Nash Student Center.
Denzell Sigler led LMA with 11 points. Jaden Sanders had eight and Kam Belser five.
Gavyn Mathes led the Barons with eight points. Tate Sistare added seven.
LMA and Wilson Hall face each other again on Saturday in the SCISA Region III-3A tournament at Orangeburg Prep at 12:15 p.m.

BISHOPVILLE – Lee Central finished its season with an 11-5 record and a Region IV-2A title with a 40-33 win over Andrew Jackson High on Friday at the LCHS gymnasium.
Samaki Hickmon led the Stallions with 11 points. Javontae Price added eight, Derrick Bradley seven and Rylik Slater six.

TJ Curlee led the Saints with 13 points. Nathan Carlisle added eight.
