The Lee Academy softball team opened its run in the SCISA 2A softball team with a blowout win over Spartanburg Christian but were sent to the loser’s bracket by Pee Dee in the second round.

The Lady Cavs will play Colleton Prep on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. for the chance to keep their season alive. If Lee is able to come away with a win, they’ll need to beat Williamsburg twice to advance to the 2A state championship series.
