LEONARD BERNARD HUNTER

MANNING - On Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, Leonard Bernard Hunter, husband of Elizabeth Lunsford Hunter, departed this life at McLeod Health Clarendon.

Born on Friday, Dec. 29, 1939, in Harlem, New York, he was a son of the late George Clyde Hunter Jr. and Lucille Iona Downer Hunter.

Graveside services celebrating his life will take place at noon today at the family plot located in the Greenhaven Preserve, 1701 Vanboklen Road, Eastover, where Imam Omar Shaheed will officiate.

In accordance with the requirements given by the CDC in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is not receiving relatives and friends at the residence.
