LEONARDA ANTONIA MAGADDINO ANDERSON

Leonarda Antonia Magaddino Anderson, 74, wife of Robert Stanley Anderson Jr., died on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022.

Born on May 20, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Girolamo Magaddino and Mary Gramatico Magaddino. She worked much of her life as a school library assistant and librarian. She was very artistic. She enjoyed creating handmade greeting cards, pencil drawings and watercolors. She was a past officer in the Italian American Club in Key West. Staying true to her Italian roots, she loved to cook.

Survivors in addition to her husband of 54 years include three children, Christopher R. Anderson of Cudjoe Key, Florida, Miranda A. Ballentine (Roger) of Bethesda, Maryland, and Ann-Marie Stolley-Davis (Seth) of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren, Ashlan, Willow, Olive Moon, Eliza and Grace; special in-laws, Stephen and Susan Anderson of Sumter, Joanne and Gary Adkission of Warren, Michigan, and David and Faith Anderson of Coppell, Texas; and six nieces and nephews, Stephen Anderson Jr., Gary Adkission Jr., Amy Licari, Megan Adkission, Melissa Anderson and David Anderson Jr.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to participate in a time of remembrance and sharing beginning at 6 p.m.

The family urges you to make donations to the Sumter Community Dog Park and/or any worthy effort to help the people in Puerto Rico during their recovery from the latest storm.
