Letter to the editor: Let's seek out God to answer prayers for our country

I am 84 years old. I've not seen our country as divided as it is now. We have FOX TV telling everything negative about CNN. Then CNN is doing the same thing. Well, one of them is not telling the truth. What kind of example is that for our youth?

Our economy is terrible and is getting worse. Many necessities are triple what they were a year ago. We have a lot of talk about doing and correcting, but talk is cheap; we need doers.

There are massive killings all over our country. Hatred has become dominant. Frankly, I see very little concern. We need leadership in all areas of concern in our society.

We need to bring back the religious revivals where we sit down and talk to God. He will listen, and in his time, he will answer our prayers.

I am so thankful I am an American, the greatest country in the world. Please let's seek out God in our prayers.
