Leukemia cancer benefit set for Saturday at Johnson's Bootcamp

A leukemia cancer benefit for Jarama Johnson will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Johnson's Bootcamp & Personal Training of Sumter, 1150 Old W. Liberty St. The benefit will feature a drop-in style workout, where participants can come and go as they please.

The event is open to the public, and participants are asked to make a monetary donation to help the Johnson family with medical bills and expenses.

Ms. Johnson is battling stage 4 Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia while caring for her 15-year-old son who is awaiting a liver transplant. Donations can also be made through the My Cash App at $bootcamp101. If donating through the app, please note the leukemia benefit.
