Members of Lakewood High School's JROTC program presented Randy Durham, owner of Liberty Seafood, with a plaque, school sweatshirt and a school coin Wednesday for his assistance in helping the group pay for a trip to a drill competition at Carowinds in May 2018. Durham provided fish and advice on how to cook it and sell it for multiple fundraisers last year, Cadet Group Commander Jonathan Jones said. "If it weren't for him," he said, "we probably would not have made it." Durham said he was surprised by the visit but very appreciative of and honored by the cadets' kindness. "We just like to give back to the community," he said. From left: Cadet Maj. Sierra Follin, senior; Cadet Group Commander Jones, senior; Durham; Cadet Capt. Zavion Boyd, junior; and Lt. Cpl.
