Lillie Mae Wilson Mack was born on Jan. 10, 1923, in Lee County, the eldest of five siblings to the late Lucious and Sallie Durant Wilson. She departed her earthly life and entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Mrs. Lillie was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her Christian life began at Beulah AME Church in Sumter for several years. She later joined Greater St. Paul Nondenominational Church in Sumter, where she served as a faithful and devoted member.

She leaves to cherish her memories: five children, Rebecca Mack, Ethel Cabbagestalk, Carolyn (Russell) Cameron, Josephine Mack and Jimmy (Gloria) Mack, all of Sumter; a devoted family friend, Willie Wright; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sister Lillie was also an adopted mother to Emmanuel, Larry, John Lee, Robert, Williams Davis, Wendell Brunson and Rodney Peebles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Mack; three daughters, Sallie Mack, Lillie "Sis" Mack and Frances Mack Amos; three brothers, Author Wilson, Willie Wilson and Nathaniel Wilson; and two sisters, Ida Wilson Gregg and Rose Ann Harvin.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150 with the Rev. Dr. Dwayne Bruce officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah AME Church Cemetery

The family will receive friends at the home, 50 Idaho Drive, Sumter, SC 29153.
