Well done, thy good and faithful servant. She received her formal education from the public schools of Lee County. She was a private sitter for many years, until her retirement.

Lizzie met the love of her life and married the late Elder Ryttenburg Otto Jackson. This union was blessed with six children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Ryttenburg Jackson; all of her siblings; two daughters, Cora Lee Archie and Jewell Elaine Jackson; one son, the Rev. Dr. Ernest Jackson; one grandson, Sean Randall Smith; and one great-grandson, Kyishawn Karl Archie.
