BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Lula Mae Smith Sanchez, 86, widow of Joseph Sanchez, died on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at St. Vincent Medical Hospital, Bridgeport.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1934, in New Zion, a daughter of the late Ellison and Estelle McFadden Smith.
Public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Friendship Presbyterian Church, New Zion.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the family is not receiving visitors.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
