Lydia Anna Dodd Thomas, 54, wife of Robert John Thomas, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House.
Born Feb. 6, 1964, in Atlanta, she is the daughter of the Rev. John R. Dodd Jr. and Frances Harrison. She was a U.S. mail carrier for the last 14 years in Pennsylvania and Sumter. She was a member of Sardinia Presbyterian Church, Sumter Digital Camera Club, 4H Club, American Dairy Goat Association and various other clubs and organizations in the Sumter area.
She is survived by her husband of six years; her father, the Rev. John R. Dodd Jr., and stepmother, Jeanette Dodd; four sons, Cassidy Paino, Thomas Kyle, Christopher Kyle and Jonathon Kyle, all of Bangor, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Desiree Kyle of Bangor and Hannah Kyle of Sumter; three grandchildren, Emma Kyle, Luke Kyle and soon-to-be Lily Rose Gullotta; a brother, Robert Dodd of Newton, New Jersey; and a nephew, Daniel Dodd of Sumter.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Dodd, John Dodd and David Dodd.
A memorial service will be at noon on Saturday at Sardinia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Jolly officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Sardinia Presbyterian Church.
