Lynn Wingate Tindal, 64, of Sumter, died on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at her home in Sumter.
Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Verlin Wingate.
She is survived by her daughter, Deidre Fuqua (Max) of Atlanta; a cousin, Kathy Black (Scott) of Sumter; and numerous other close cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Elder Lorenzo Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 2 to 3 p.m.
