MAGGIE JOHNSON

Maggie Johnson, 83, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Blue Ridge HealthCare Center, Sumter. The daughter of the late George and Annie Jane Hickman, Johnson was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Pinewood.

She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Joe S. (Lou) Johnson of Columbia and Henry Johnson of Pinewood; daughters, Daisy Johnson and Margretta Johnson, both of Pinewood, Joycel Johnson of Sumter and Ariole Johnson of Camden; a brother, Larry Johnson of Pinewood; a sister, Betty Johnson of Pinewood; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Viewing will be held on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kingdom Builders Church, 621 W. Liberty St., Sumter.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday at noon at Manning Cemetery, 7320 Milford Plantation Road, Pinewood, SC 29125, with the Pastor Lee Vinnie Small and the Rev. Dr. Richard James, eulogist.
