MALVENIA JAMES

Malvenia James, 71, departed this life on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia.

Born on Feb. 9, 1949, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph James Sr. and Annie Blakely James.

She is survived by six sisters of South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at noon on Tuesday at the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with the Rev. Sidney Hampton officiating.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 3005 London Road, Sumter.
