A 52-year-old man is facing a forgery charge after he allegedly tried to use a fake $100 at Advance Auto Parts on U.S. 15 South earlier this month.

Todd K. Klavon, of Gibbs Dairy Road, was reportedly confronted by the store clerk who recognized the counterfeit bill on Oct. 11 before Klavon left the store.

The entire incident was captured on surveillance video and Klavon was arrested on Saturday, states a release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office.
