Manning High Symphonic Band participates in band workshop

Manning High School Symphonic Band and director Jordan Jefferson traveled to Hartsville on March 7 to participate in the Coker College Pre-Festival Band Workshop at Coker College. The band performed its South Carolina Concert Performance Assessment selections on the stage at the Coker Performing Arts Center and received comments from two experienced band directors. After their performance, the band had a work session with Coker Band Director Kelly Jokisch and former Clark Atlanta University Band Director Tomisha Brock. The band also participated in a Lowcountry competition recently, bringing home ratings of Excellent.
