Manning woman killed in drive-by shooting

MANNING — A 21-year-old Manning woman died early Friday morning after being struck by gunshots fired into her home in what authorities have called a drive-by shooting.
Clarendon County Coroner Jackie Blackwell said Lelanni Maria Durham died at 12:01 a.m. at McLeod Health Clarendon. An autopsy on Durham has been scheduled for Saturday at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Manning Police Chief Keith Grice said the shooting occurred about 11:15 p.m. Feb. 2 on the 200 block of Reardon Street.
“A shooter from an unknown vehicle fired multiple shots into the residence striking one of the occupants,” Grice said. “This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Manning Police Department at (803) 435-8859 or the Crime Tip Line at (803) 433-8025.”
Grice said there is a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals involved in the shooting. Callers may remain anonymous.
