Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, the 41st-Annual Striped Bass Festival will not be rescheduled in 2020. Next year’s event is scheduled for April 23-24, 2021.

“We are disappointed to not have the festival this year, but the well-being of the community and our staff and volunteers is of the utmost importance to us,” said Carrie Anna Strange, Striped Bass Festival chair. “We would like to thank our presenting sponsor Hope Health, as well as all other festival sponsors, for their continued support and for working with us during this difficult time."

Strange said while the festival will not occur this year, T-shirts are still being sold. The cost is $15 for youth sizes through adult XL and $20 for sizes 2XL and over.

If you would like to purchase a commemorative t-shirt, they are on sale at the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce. Call the Chamber at (803) 435-4405 to place your order and to make arrangements for curbside pick-up because the office is closed to walk-in traffic amid the pandemic.
