MAREK CORTEZ BREWER

Marek Cortez Brewer, 45, husband of Shasstiny S. Smith Brewer and son of Marion Choice and Joyce Brewer Davis, was born on Nov. 1, 1979, in Sumter. He departed this life on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Elder Kenneth Choice, eulogist.
Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Dalzell.
Family will receive friends at 3165 Homestead Road, Sumter, daily from 4-8 p.m, and at 3984 McCrays Mill Road, Sumter, daily from 4-8 p.m.
