MARGARET C. GRIFFIN

Margaret C. Griffin, 88, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born July 2, 1936, in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lou Geddings McLeod. She was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God and retired as a private duty nurse.
Survivors include twin half-brothers, Clarence Carraway (Brenda) and Calvin Carraway; a special cousin, Brenda Logan Smith (Roy); a sister-in-law, Burnette Geddings; and special friends, Linda and Lance Sheldon and their family. Margaret became part of Linda and Lance Sheldon’s family and thought of them as her family.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Geddings and Dewitt Geddings
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, in the Green Acres Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating.
