SUMMERTON - On Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, Margaret Loretta "Wee Wee" Richburg heard her Master's call at her residence.

Born on Oct. 21, 1944, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Willie G. "Son" Richburg and Josie Elizabeth Brailsford Richburg.

A service celebrating her life will take place at noon on Sunday at Friendship AME Church, 6156 Furse Road, Pinewood, where the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Mary H. Rhodes, will bring words of encouragement. Assisting will be the Rev. Eddie L. Gaston Jr., presiding elder of Manning District AME Church, the Rev. Dr. Marion H. Newton, the Rev. James Stukes and the Rev. Harold O. Wilson. The service of committal will follow at the Richburg family plot located in the Friendship AME Cemetery.

Her memories will be cherished by her siblings, Bessie R. Askew of Sumter, Mattie L. Richburg of Richmond, Virginia, Willie E. (Annie) Richburg of Sumter, Leon N. (Virginia) Richburg Sr. of Summerton and Martin Richburg of Elloree; and one sister-in-law, Mary P. Richburg of Mount Pleasant.

Public viewing will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St., Manning.

The family is receiving relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. at the residence, 1821 Willie G. Richburg Road, Summerton.
