MARY ELLEN WALLACE YORK

MANNING - On Saturday, June 18, 2022, Mary Ellen Wallace York exchanged time for eternity at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born on Thursday, May 22, 1952, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Smith and Robertha Hilton Wallace.

Graveside services celebrating her life will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the family plot located in Society Hill AME Church Cemetery, 1030 Morello Road, Jordan community of Manning, where the Rev. Dr. Jonathan Mouzon, pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church, Bloomville community of Manning, will officiate.

Public viewing will take place during the hours of 4 to 6 p.m. today at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St., Manning.

In accordance with requirements given by the CDC in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is not receiving relatives and friends at the residence.
