MARY THAMES KING

MANNING - Mary Thames King, 92, widow of Ervin King, died on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at McLeod Health Clarendon, Manning.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1929, in Manning, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Chatman Thames.

Public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 7827 Paxville Highway, Manning, with the Rev Jeffery Jackson Sr. officiating and Apostle Jeremiah Blanding, Evangelist Elizabeth Morant, the Rev. Burdy Pringle and the Rev. Lillian Wright assisting.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family is not receiving visitors.

These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral home LLC of Manning.
