Ms. Cheryll Elizabeth Mayle of Lakeland, Florida, and Mr. Dayton Lee Mayle of Weaverville, North Carolina, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Nicole Mayle of Lakeland, to Anthony Miles Scott of Rembert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ray Scott of Sumter.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Brantly Simmons of West Palm Beach, Florida, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hartsel Lee Mayle of Grafton, West Virginia. She graduated from George Jenkins High School and Florida Gulf Coast University. She is attending Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. June McCaskill Miles and the late Mr. Jackson "Jack" Miles of Rembert and Mr. Ray Scott and the late Mrs. Sylvia Brunson Scott of Sumter. He graduated from Sumter High School and the Medical University of South Carolina. He is attending Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The wedding will be held April 25, 2020, at First Presbyterian Church in Sumter.
