Mayzie is a sweet and beautiful girl who enjoys going for walks

Miss Mayzie is a beautiful 69 pound Labrador mix who seems to have been neglected for awhile. She arrived at animal control very thin, dirty and suffering with ear infections. She has received medical attention and is recovering nicely. She has most likely lived outside her whole life. She is a sweet girl and gets along with other dogs. Mayzie enjoys her walks with the volunteers and does very well on a leash. Mayzie will be a stunning lady when she is cleaned up and cared for properly in a new loving inside home. She is in kennel 28 at Sumter Animal Control, 1240 Winkles Road. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them.
