McDuffie-Hennen

Dr. and Mrs. Scott Ramsey McDuffie of Sumter announce the engagement of their son, Parker Bradley McDuffie of Charleston, to Abigail Jo Hennen of Charleston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marc Ernest Hennen of Greensboro, North Carolina.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Ernest Matthew Hennen and the late Mrs. Jane Marie Hennen of Marshall, Minnesota, and Mrs. Judith Ann Goldberg and the late Mr. Adrian Carl Goldberg of Cottonwood, Minnesota. She graduated in 2018 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Global Health and in 2020 from George Washington University with a Master of Public Health. She is employed as a senior analyst for market insights with Amwell.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. James Griswold Manville and the late Mrs. Helen Scott Manville of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ms. Tania Love Leon of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bundy McDuffie Jr. of Summerton. He graduated in 2018 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and will graduate in May 2022 from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Doctor of Medicine. He will begin his residency in urology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, in July 2022.

The wedding is planned for June 4, 2022, at Mount Pleasant Presybterian Church, Mount Pleasant.
