Meagan Breanna Hudson, 22, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Born July 15, 2002, in Sumter, she was the daughter of William Clyde Hudson Jr. and Renee Windham Hudson. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Meagan worked with The Citizens Bank in Sumter and also owned and operated M&T Photography. She loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and Saturday nights at Sumter Speedway. She loved her family and friends dearly and spending time with them enjoying the things she loved.
Survivors in addition to her father and mother include her paternal grandparents, Clyde Hudson Sr. and Alice Hudson; an aunt, Bonnie Hudson; special cousins, Benjamin Hudson, Dusty Cheshire (Kaylee) and Kayla Randolph (Aaron); her best friend, Lauren Pack; and a special family friend, Carol Holloway and her son, Seth.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mitchell A. Windham and Margaret Ann Windham.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at Eastside Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Jerry Underwood. Burial will be in Wells Cemetery in Elliott.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hodge, Justin Ardis, Austin Pack, Jacob Gainey, Dusty Cheshire and Robbie Watts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Prescott, Chad Arrants and Robbie Watts.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her father, 3335 Bart Davis Road, Alcolu, and the home of Hank and Denise Todd, 1735 Queen Chapel Road, Sumter.
