MELINDA STONE PARROTT

Melinda "Linda" Stone Parrott, 57, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.

She was born on April 11, 1963, in Florence, a daughter of the late Maybell Floyd Stone and Bobby O. Stone of Sumter.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family which includes her husband, Melvin Parrott of Sumter; daughters, Linda "Punkie" Parrott Brotherton (Paul) and Kim Stone of Sumter; two brothers, Bobby Wayne Stone of Columbia and Jerry Stone (Kim) of Sumter; two grandsons, Joseph "Boo" Parrott and Matthew Brotherton of Sumter; and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Parrott; and a sister, Tammy Windham.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Green Acres Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Massey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 3135 Beulah Cuttino Road, Sumter.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
