Melissa Dawn Parker Driggers, 44, wife of Johnny Mac Driggers, died on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at Atrium Health Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of Charles Wheeler Parker and Charlotte Dabbs Parker. Mrs. Driggers was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was employed by Carolina Healthcare.

Surviving are her husband; her parents of Sumter; sisters, Ashley Krueger (Steven) of Meridian, Idaho, and Linda Watkins (Nelson) of Conway; a brother, David Parker (Mandy) of Myrtle Beach; a nephew, Cullen Watkins; and three nieces, Jasmine Watkins, Emily Parker and Evelyn Parker.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Salem Black River Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Bishop Dusty Rhoades officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
