MICHAEL MILLER

On Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, Michael "Bernie" Miller departed this earthly life at McLeod Hospice House of Florence.

Born on Oct. 3, 1960, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Ranson Brunson Sr. and Rose Miller Cooper. He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Courtney Miller; his son, Michael Miller; their mother, Teressa Dinkins; and one grandson, Ma'Kii Dulay, all from the District of Columbia; two brothers, Ranson (Gloria) Brunson of Claremont and Calvin (Mary) Miller of Rembert; three sisters, Machelle (Eugene) Levine of Sumter, Temerly (Anthony) Brunson of York and Frenchie Hannah of Charlotte, North Carolina; two uncles; four aunts; a special friend, Robin Steadman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 6705 Moody Road, Rembert.

Funeral services will be held at noon today in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with the Rev. Ruth E. Robinson officiating, eulogist.

The procession will leave at 11:20 a.m. from the home.
