REMBERT - Funeral services for Mildred Duncan will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Union Baptist Church, 5840 Spring Hill Road, Rembert, with the Rev. Walter Robertson III, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Mildred Duncan was born on Oct. 5, 1946, in Rembert, to the late Johnnie and Nancy Holliday Bennett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Bennett and Isaac Rhabb; and her former husband, Henry Duncan.

On Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, God called Mildred from labor to reward in Rembert.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, James (special friend, Juanita) Bennett, Calvin (Dione) Duncan and Patrick (Quantae) Duncan; two daughters, Patricia Jackson (Rickey) and Decola Johnson (Shawn); 11 grandchildren, Rilynn Duncan, Layla Duncan, Eli Duncan, Kevin Bennett, Tyanna Davis, Datrick Duncan, Detrick Duncan, Kendall Jackson, JeDarius Jackson, Jessica Jackson and Jermoni Washington; nine great-grandchildren, Kemani Bennett, Kevae' Bennett, A'Zian Bennett, Major Bennett, Ivy Bennett, Kortez Bennett, Jordyn Newton, Jahlil Newton and Darius Sutton; her siblings, Earline Allen, Elijah Bennett, Elizabeth Alston (Abraham), Lenora Golden, Benjamin (Pearl) Bennett and Richard (Ruth) Bennett; her in-laws, Hammie Duncan, Jimmy (Peggy) Duncan, Robert (Evelyn) Duncan, Randy (Jennifer) Duncan, Lucille Duncan, Mamie Ebanks, Jerrell Reames, Laura Duncan and Alease Bennett; three special nieces who were raised as her sisters in the home, Lorraine Kim, Joan Berry and Joanna Gibbs; her best friend for more than 20 years, Elaine King; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 6380 Nakia Drive, Rembert.

Services are entrusted to Whites Mortuary LLC of Sumter.
