WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - Mildred Florence Cook passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, with her loving family at her bedside.

A visitation with family and friends will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made in honor of Mildred to the American Cancer Society.

Mildred was born on Feb. 8, 1930, in Lee County, to the late Lawrence Manning Foxworth and Marie Gertrude Capell. Mildred married William A. Dollard on her high school graduation day in 1948 and remarried for 17 years. She gave birth to a daughter in October 1949, Barbara Ann, now living in Warner Robins. She was the second born of six girls and three boys. She worked at Pioneer Dress Co. in Sumter for more than 20 years as a clothing inspector for children's dresses. Mildred lived in Sumter until 2006 when she moved to Warner Robins to live with Barbara Ann and her family. She became a resident at Summerhill in January of 2017. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Lila Simpson, Lawrence Manning Foxworth, Thomas Foxworth, Shirley Bendel and Ola Foxworth.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Carlyle Cook; daughter, Barbara Ann (Thomas) Nations; grandchildren, Heather (Christopher) Mabee and Paula (Greg) Simpson; great-grandchildren, Derick and Isabel Luiggi, Collin Mabee, Landon, Abigail and Bristol Simpson; sisters, Ella (Bill) Dyson and Joyce (Gene) Weatherly; brother, Jessie Ray (Mary) Foxworth.

She was also preceded in death by a host of nieces and nephews.
