MINNIE IDA MARTIN PUGH

WILMINGTON, N.C. - On Saturday, June 5, 2021, Minnie Ida Martin Pugh, wife of Timothy Pugh Sr., heard her master's call at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington.

Born on Friday, March 25, 1932, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Katie Black "Ms. Sing" Martin Sr.

Services celebrating her life will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 4925 New Centre Road, Wilmington, North Carolina, where the pastor, the Rev. Jerome Thames, will bring words of consolation. The service of committal will follow in the Pugh family plot located at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.

Public viewing will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington.

The family is receiving relatives and friends from 1 to 8 p.m. at the residence. Masks are required.
