Manning High School’s varsity boys basketball team improved to 5-1 with a 60-55 victory over Timberland at the Timberland High School Gym on Monday night.

Manning High School’s varsity boys basketball team improved to 5-1 with a 60-55 victory over Timberland at the Timberland High School Gym on Monday night.

Freshman point guard Justin Daniels led the Monarchs with 14 points and six steals, while junior guard JaQuan Fletcher added 10 points and five steals.

The Monarchs will next host Lake Marion on Tuesday night, in a rematch of their season-opener. Manning won the first game 51-28 back on Dec. 3.
