The puppets are the stars of Sumter Little Theatre's upcoming musical "Avenue Q," which opens Thursday, May 23. From left, actors/puppeteers: Jordan Arms Torres as Rod, "a Republican investment banker with a secret"; Adrian Rios as Nicky, "a slacker who lives with Rod"; John Michael Osteen as Brian, "a laidback guy who lives with Christmas Eve"; and Jessica Keller as Christmas Eve, "a therapist who moved here from Japan."
