NANCY ANN JONES LEWIS

Nancy Ann Jones Lewis, affectionately known as “Ann,” was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.  Ann was born Jan. 1, 1950, to the late Sgt. James Jones and Nancy Williams Jones. She attended the public schools of Sumter County.  Shortly after graduating from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1968, she relocated to Manhattan, New York, where she met and married the love of her life, Robert Lewis Sr.
Her precious memories will be cherished by her children, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Olden Chapel UME Church, 189 Hoyt St., Sumter, with Elder Joseph Watkins officiating, the Rev. Dr. J. Elbert  Williams, eulogist.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Sinai Presbyterian Church Yard Cemetery, Mayesville.
