NATHANIEL WELLS

ELLIOTT - Nathaniel Wells, 54, son of the late George Wells Sr. and Dorothy Mae Gamble Wells, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at McLeod Medical Center in Florence.

Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memories: children, Damien Nathaniel Wells of Florence, Courtney Umeko (Dominic) Brown and Sheniqua Latrice Wells, both of Darlington; two stepsons, Christopher (Gwen) Williams of Bowman and Tyrell Pringle of Darlington; 13 grandchildren; five sisters, Georgia Mae Reames of St. Charles, Ora Belle Wilson of Elliott, Annie Lou (Robert) Moses and Evaline (Harold) Harriott, both of Sumter, and Doreatha Wells of Elliott; one brother, James (Claudia) Wells of Elliott; three aunts, Virginia Williams of Lamar, Hattie Mae Boone of Mayesville and Deloris Wells of Elliott; one uncle, John Lisbon of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and four brothers-in-law.

A public viewing will be held today at the funeral home from noon to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul UMC Memorial Garden in Elliott.
