Funeral services for Nellie Mozelle Oakley Galloway, 94, will be held at 3 p.m. today at St. Matthew United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kathy Carr will officiate with burial at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 2144 Stokes Bridge Road West, Bishopville, SC 29010.

Mrs. Galloway, widow of Ben T. Galloway Jr., entered into rest on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019.

Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, she was a daughter of David Lee Oakley and Flossie Phillips Oakley.

She is survived by her son, David W. (Jean) Galloway of Bishopville; daughters, Gail Medlin of Bethune and Jean (Ralph) DeMarco of Bethune; brothers, David Oakley Jr. of Greensboro and Lewis Ray Oakley of Greensboro; grandchildren, Jim Medlin, Tracy Robinson, Dianne Byrd, Ben T. Galloway IV, Ricky Watts, Heather Bell and Megan Pitcairn; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Ben T. Galloway III; granddaughter, Holly Galloway; son-in-law, James Medlin; one brother; and three sisters.
