Nicole Senovia Workman, affectionately known as "Nikki," was born on Nov. 28, 1981, in Cheverly, Maryland. Nicole departed her life on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at Med Star Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.

She was the only child of Richmond "Rick" and Martha Ann Workman. Nicole attended many programs since she was 18 months old. Nicole graduated from Sharpe Mental Health School at the age of 22. Then she attended United Cerebral Palsy day program for years before COVID-19 in 2019.

Nicole leaves to cherish her memories: her aunts and uncles, Geneva Murphy, Fannie Mae (Monroe) Moore, Mary (Caleb) Kershaw, Martha Sanders, Kevin Murphy, Jonathan Moore of Rembert, Joseph "Sunny" Sanders of Mississippi, Annette L. Dennis of LaPlata, Maryland, Brian ( Marlene) Mitchell of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Hillard "Jr" (Saundra Fleming) Osborne of Hyattsville, Maryland, and Richard Simmons of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; great aunts and uncles, Margaret "Sing" (Freddie) Davis of Mitchellville, Maryland, Laura "Bea" Dinkins of Rembert, Carie Mae Dennis of New York, New York, and Doise (Evamae "Sister") Workman of Jersey City, New Jersey; and a host of other relatives and friends of the family.

In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with Pastor Marie Sanders, eulogist.

The procession will leave the home at 8:30 a.m.

Burial will be at Rafting Creek Baptist Churchyard Cemetery, 3860 S.C. 261 North, Rembert.
