Nigel John Lee, 81, widower of Frances Elizabeth Crump Lee, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born Feb. 27, 1938, in England, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Margaret Ann Lee. He was a member of Faith Outreach Assembly Church and was formerly the owner and operator of Chappy's Fish and Chips.

Survivors include three daughters, Annetta Gail Foulds (Tom) of San Antonio, Texas, Carolyn Wilson Debosky of Sumter and Connie Wilson Scurry (Junior) of Sumter; five grandchildren, Bryan Foulds, Kelly Foulds, Nickie Debosky, Daniel Bochette and Andrew Bochette; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Foulds, Landon Foulds and Emily Foulds; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Lee of England.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Lee.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Betty Gainey, the Rev. Tony Porter and the Rev. Margie Dancy officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
