Norman helps to solve issues facing his constituents

Ralph Norman has done an exemplary job representing the Fifth District. An example is his organizing multiple opioid summits, bringing diverse interests together to solve this problem. Another is his getting involved to solve a veterans issue with the VA. This veteran, an acquaintance, was pleased how quickly it was resolved after he contacted Congressman Norman.

Congressman Norman's opponent has no political experience. My understanding is that he spent most of his working career overseas and did not once vote in a U.S. election during that time. This indicates to me that he has no true, deep interest in helping the country prosper. I, too, worked overseas and did not once miss voting. My final concern is that should Mr. Parnell be elected, he will come under the spell of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. It is the only path to the better assignments in the lockstep party line Democrat structure. Personally, it is not in my best interest to vote to rescind the tax cut, restrict business with more regulation and promote open borders. We have record low unemployment in traditionally lower-employment groups. A surplus of jobs allows wages to rise, benefitting those same groups. Do we want to return to the past? The open borders especially takes lower-level jobs from those already here and struggling. Without firm borders, do we really have a country?

Finally, the Republicans are not perfect but certainly the superior choice if you value your own interests as well as those of the country long term. Ralph Norman is an example of that superiority.
