OPINION: Now is not the right time to further fund school district

I commend the Rev. Canty for his candid assessment of our school district's situation in The Sumter Item last Sunday and agree with everything he said including the district needing more funds. However, I cannot support providing more funds with the majority of trustees appearing to be incompetent fiscal managers, and I fear the money would just be squandered away. When Frank Baker and his followers are gone and common sense returns would be the right time.
Frank Baker is doing great harm to our community and needs to go.
