OLA MAE SMITH

Ola Mae Smith was born on Sept. 6, 1946, to the late Walter and Laurie Smith. She was married to the late Stephey Manning. Ola Mae was a faithful member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang with the choir and was a member of the ushers ministry. She loved to attend church, sing, and she a had a passion for children, which she babysat often. Ola Mae loved her family dearly and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Ola Mae leaves to mourn her passing: two brothers, Jackie Smith and Leon Smith, both of Sumter; three special cousins, Sally Sumter, Minnie Wilson and Richard Dukes, all of Sumter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Joseph Smith; two sisters, Inez Pattasawe and Lauretha Stukes; and one brother-in-law.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Mrs. Smith will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Friday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 80 Dollard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
