Sumter 2040 is the update to the county's comprehensive plan, a document that serves as a blueprint for what types of developments and amenities should be built where. At the June 20 meeting, which will be from 5-7 p.m. at Central Carolina Technical College's Health Sciences Center at 113 S. Main St. in the Iris Room, the public will be able to see and hear draft policies and proposed future land use maps.
Planning staff will be available to discuss your thoughts, suggestions and ideas.
