OPINION: We'll be remembered for what we do today

Sumter 2040: South Carolina should get rid of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and allow all reputable businesses to sell all legal items. This would save taxpayers lots of dollars. Since truth and honesty are hard to find in today's world, in all businesses. There are so many untruths in government, you'd think that everyone was from South Carolina.

Sumter 2040: The leadership of Sumter city/county seem to have a "bucket list" of things that Sumter needs. Like Sumter streets - bucket, Sumter education - bucket, Sumter street lighting - bucket, Sumter news source - bucket. We need to learn from the past and look to a better future, understanding that we are living the future and will be remembered for what we do today.
