They say you can’t ever have enough pitching, and Aiken Post 26 learned that lesson the hard way on Wednesday evening at Riley Park.

The Sumter P-15’s thumped Aiken 15-5 via the 10-run mercy rule in game three of their best-of-five series, and now lead the series 2-1. Sumter needs a win on either Thursday or Friday to advance to the next round of the South Carolina American Legion State Playoffs.
