The Sumter P-15's split a pair of baseball games with Camden on Wednesday at Riley Park, winning 5-3 and losing by a 6-4 count.

The opening game was the completion of a game that was suspended by rain on Monday. The second game was a regularly scheduled contest.

The suspended game restarted in the fourth inning with the P-15's holding a 2-0 lead. Sumter, which was the designated visiting team since Camden doesn't have a home field, added three runs in the top of the fourth to go up 5-0. Camden scored three runs in the sixth but couldn't get any closer.

Wylie Coker led the P-15's offense with a double and three runs batted in. Sumter finished with six hits. SB DuCom had a hit and two RBI, while Tray Yates and Jacob Holladay both had a hit and scored a run.

Connor Batey picked up the victory, pitching two scoreless innings of relief. John Kolb came on in relief in the sixth to kill the Camden rally and pick up the save. He tossed two scoreless innings.

In the second game, Camden broke a 3-3 tie with a single run in the fifth and two more in the sixth for the 6-4 win.

Sumter took a 1-0 lead in the second before Camden scored three runs in the third. The P-15's tied it with two runs in the fourth.

Sumter finished with nine hits with Jackson Hoshour, Jacob Holladay and Seth Posey picking up two apiece. Hoshour had a double and scored three runs, while Posey had two RBI. Yates had a hit and two RBI.

Sandy Johnson took the loss in 1 1/3 innings of relief.
