PAMELA ODOM SORENSON

Pamela Odom Sorenson, 59, wife of Thomas C. Sorenson, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born Sept. 21, 1959, in Monahans, Texas, she was a daughter of Vera Moore Odom and the late Thomas Odom.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years; mother of Sumter; two daughters, Brittany Rooks (Chris) and Brooke Sorenson (Justin Kirby), both of Sumter; a stepdaughter, Crystal Majors (Stuart) of Spartanburg; five grandchildren, Paige Rooks, Justin Kirby Jr., Alexis Majors, Landon Majors and Tristan Majors; and one sister, Cheryl Odom (Melissa Witte) of Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Cribb officiating. Burial will be at Sumter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin Kirby, Chris Rooks, Adam Rooks, Stuart Majors, Jake Buddin and Gene Stokes.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
